Elitmus Queries.

Q) What does eLitmus do?

eLitmus conducts a common All India aptitude test, pH Test. This test generally happens once a month in 6 to 10 cities. A similar concept is being now copied by bodies like NASSCOM.

Q) What is the pH Test?

As mentioned before – this is the most researched employability test in India. Readwww.elitmus.com/ph_test for more details.

It’s a 2 hours test with 3 sections (Quant, PS, Verbal) with 60 questions in total (20 each section). The test is designed to measure your natural ability but still we recommend that you prepare for 3 days before appearing for the test.

Q) Tips to do well in pH Test

(a) Do not waste time mugging up formulae, all applicable formulae are provided in the question paper.

(c) Little guess work is fine but a lot of it will be heavily penalized. eLitmus has artificial intelligence software to determine it.

 Q) How are guess makers or people with poor fundamentals tracked?

Let say a question is,

"What is the capital of USA?" with options (a) New York (b) Washington (c) New Delhi (d) Karachi.

It’s obvious that if a guy marks option (c) or (d) he is either guessing or fundamentally very weak. Anybody who marks (a) has some information but, it is incomplete. So all questions carry close wrong answer(s) and very far off wrong answer(s). Needless to say if a person marks far off wrong answer(s), mostly he is guessing or fundamentally very weak. Software with artificial intelligence patterns the attempts and decides the weight age of negative marking.

Q) Can I give pH Test at my college campus?

Based on requests from college management, elitmus has even supported candidates to write the pH Test at their campus itself.

Candidates of such college need to pay only Rs 500 instead of Rs 699. The discount for the candidates is because college management takes up the responsibility of verifying authenticity of academic details of candidates which reduces effort of elitmus team.

 MCA : Selected MCA students will join  in Jan’12 with following Compensation structure.

 MCA : stipend of Rs. 10K per month with Bond of 2 yrs. After 6 months of their training based on business scenario and performance, they will get confirmed with CTC of 3.2  Lacs.

 BCA : Selected BCA students will join  in July’12 with following Compensation structure.

Eligibility Criterion

The recruitment drive is for Graduates / Post Graduates passing in the year 2012.

BE/B. Tech (CSE, IT, IS, CT, ECE, ETC, EEE and E&I) only - no other branches will be entertained

MCA/M. Sc (SE,CS,IS,IT,CT) -  both 2 years and 5 yrs integrated program

A minimum of 50% marks in 10th, 12th, Diploma, Graduation and Post Graduation (as the case may be). Student who has failed in +2 and later joined Diploma are not eligible

Students should not have any current arrear at the time of registering for the process

A maximum of 1 year break in education is allowed

Only individuals of Indian origin / individuals having a valid Indian passport are eligible

This assessment is expected to be used as the first entry level hiring tool for the industry.
