For employers 

  1. The Placement Office (nodal point for placements at AITM) or the Placement Cell (a body of student representatives) sends invitations to companies/organizations along with relevant information.
  2. Company/ Organization fills in a Job description containing details of the job offer (pay package, place of posting, allowances and other bonuses) or email(.(tpo@advancedinstitutions.com)
  3. If the company/ organization wishes to conduct a Pre-Placement Talk (PPT) they can sent a request along with the preferred dates.
  4. The JD is made available online to the students, along with any other information furnished by company organization.
  5. Placement Office allots dates to companies for campus interviews based on various details given by companies. The company/ organization confirms the dates with the Placement Office.
  6. Interested students show their willingness to appear for the recruitment process of a company by signing its JD.
  7. Companies come down to the campus on the allotted date/s and conduct tests and/or interviews according to their recruitment process.
  8. The company/ organization is required to furnish the final list of students preferably on the date of interview.

Note: The placement office records jobs corresponding to the students selected. Students once placed may not be allowed to appear for other interviews as per the institute placement policy.

FAQs For students 

What is meant by "One job offer per student"?

 Many students are genuinely interested in job position; however, it has been observed that some of the students give interviews as practice mock interviews. This adversely affects the selection of genuine candidates as well as the reputation of the college .The College has decided to come up with one job offer per student

 Each student will be allowed to take only one job offer from campus

What is meant by accepting a job offer?

If the candidate is selected by the company for the job position, it means the candidate has accepted the job offer. Candidates are suggested to apply ONLY if they are genuinely interested in joining the company. 

In which all cases, can a candidate participate in placement activities?

  • A candidate who is ALL CLEAR till 5th semester
  • A candidate who is not blacklisted
  • A candidate who has not accepted any job offer

Is it essential to be all clear in 6th and 7th semester exams?

  • A Candidate who has to reappear in 6th and 7th semester exams can sit for campus placements. However , the candidate should not have backlog in more than 3  exams  for 6th and 7th Semester

In which all cases, can a candidate be blacklisted?

  • A candidate can be blacklisted due to any of the following reasons
    • If a candidate provides any wrong or fraudulent information
    • If a candidates applies for a particular company and then without any intimation, does not   attend the interview.
    • If a candidate misbehaves with TPO or the corporate team

Is it essential to apply for a company?

  • Only those candidates who have applied would be allowed to participate in campus activities of a company
